TLDR: exploring a tool and method for thinking outside the box to solve problems.
A Wildcard view
I am sure we all go through periods when we are off-centred dealing with a big event or emotion feeling like it is going in circles. For myself when I am in this rut, I am blind to stepping out of the box to solve the problem. A tool that I use to help me out is to pull a “wild card” and try to apply its meaning to my problems. I guess this is a bit of an activity to help me expand my thinking more often than not it opens up a new perspective.
I discovered this method by using a deck of Tarot cards.
The thing about this deck of cards is that the structure seems to hit a huge range of life conditions – you really could think that’s why using it can feel so convincing of its divination powers – I mean it could have mystical power, but I remain unconvinced.

You will see that there are main themes within the suits while the numbers over a larger set of variables that we face. And when you multiply the suits with the numbers there is a great number of insights that can be applied the each of us at some point in our journey; with every hardship we face it has an impact on each of these aspects of our lives.
The Takeaway // Explore through a wildcard
Start by giving the cards a little shuffle in your hands to mix them up. To pick a card you can spread out the cards facing down and or just select from the stack in your hands. I generally don’t memorize the message behind each card so I use the tarot bible book to reference.

To help yourself explore the options especially if you are a visual thinker, you can create a mind map. Write down the current issue/s you are facing and the “wild card” angle the explore, and then just let your mind wander. Writing notes on paper. It is okay if your throughs flow off course it’s great to let your mind wander and note it down. There are no right and wrong ideas, but I think that adding all the outlandish thoughts is good practice because it is easy to scratch them out later than having to try to remember them.
