routine

Being someone who either has their mind deep in thought or nose locked into books I generally have a skewed concept of time and am rather forgetful about the tasks that need to be completed to “adult” correctly. I found keeping a routine really helps me maintain a certain standard of life.

But how to create a routine? I have found the time tune app helped remind me to do things like take out the bin or do the laundry. Allowing me to still focus on the things that make me happy and be reminded about the things that upkeep life.

For me when setting up the routines there are a couple of different focuses.
1. Life admin
2. Goal progression
3. Creative projects
4. House chores

Note: Some of the stuff that I have identified in the baseline, even those that sit in documents like budgets, are still managed by setting reminders to update through routines.

I even have the maintenance of this blog set up on a routine. Because on the days that I am focused on the blog it’s good, on the days that I am preoccupied, the reminder helps.

Something I want to note is that when I found Timetune it was in 2017 as is a bit of a different app than it is today. I have since coded my own application for routine management – it is in its early stages as it is a hobby of mine to work on. I hope that maybe one day in the future that I might get it to a point where I can publish it
